We are looking for an accounting manager on behalf of one of our clients. This company specializes in aeronautics and is located in the northeast of Luxembourg City.
With a presence in both France and Luxembourg, this company is experiencing significant growth and aims to strengthen its teams. Your Responsibilities | Management - Aviation
Ensure Proper Accounting Management: Oversee and manage all accounting operations to ensure compliance with relevant standards and accuracy in financial reporting.
Team Management and Supervision: Lead and supervise junior team members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and development. Allocate tasks effectively to ensure balanced workloads and efficiency.
Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct financial analyses and prepare detailed financial reports. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Budget Planning and Control: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals and objectives.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure accounting practices are in line with LuxGAAP standards, and leverage knowledge of FrGAAP when necessary. Maintain and enforce compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Profile and Career Path | Management - Aviation
Extensive Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting is required due to the responsibilities of this role and the profile of the team members. Demonstrated expertise in financial management and accounting practices is essential.
Language Proficiency: While French is predominantly used among team members, proficiency in English is essential as it is the common language spoken by all employees. Multilingualism is an advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in the company’s internal accounting software, BOB50, is a significant asset. Familiarity with additional accounting software and tools will be beneficial.
Accounting Standards: Strong understanding and experience with LuxGAAP standards. Familiarity with FrGAAP standards is occasionally beneficial, and experience with these standards will be an advantage.
Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive and collaborative work environment..
